It takes just 5 minutes to update your registration information or submit your application for voter registration online.
Remember that the day before the Minister proclaims the date of the elections, is the last day that you will have to submit your application. The IEC has announced that the Minister will make her proclamation on 20 September 2021. This means you have up until 19 September 2021 to update your registration information or to apply for voter registration.
Anyone who is a South Africa citizen; is at least 18 years old; and has a valid green, bar-coded ID book or a smartcard ID can submit their Voter Registration Application online.
