WHITE MONOPOLY CAPITAL LED BY JOHANN RUPERT IS CALLING FOR REGIME CHANGE – JOIN BLF, ITS THE RIGHT TIME!

image

The counter revolutionary forces of white monopoly capital led by Johann Rupert and supported by opposition parties and the white media have called for a regime change. In this time, the heightened desperation and revolutionary anger of blacks are being channeled for neo liberal ends via organized white power.  Now more than ever , the forces of revolution need  to organize every segment of black life to resist and deal with this anti black offensive. The following extract from BLF’s press statement titled “Political Questions Facing The Country” delivered in Yeoville on 2 April 2016, is instructive:

“The call by Johann Rupert for a coup follows the failed attempt by his agents within the ANC, NEC to remove Zuma as expected by their handlers. Johann Rupert lost it and showed his hand.  Now Malema has also endorsed the programme of  regime change by Rupert and Co.

Johan Rupert and imperialism wants to remove Zuma before the people remove him through a revolutionary process that would ensure the end of white supremacy.

The call for Zuma to go is a calculation to make a pre-emptive strike to ensure a new stooge is put in power to ensure white interests are perpetuated. The favourite candidate right now is Cyril Ramaphosa who has already demonstrated that he can serve the interests of white capital even violently. Ramaphosa is not shy to kill for white capital – the Marikana massacre bears testimony to this.

The call for Zuma to go is because he no longer listens to white capital,  he is looking “East for A family feast”- Russia, India and China. The close relationship with the Guptas is seen by white as a sign of how things are going to be if he is not quickly removed.

If Zuma is not removed he may introduce a bad culture of not taking the calls from London. The Guptas have upset white capital by entering into the mining sector aggressively. We saw how they  bought Swiss owned Optimum coal. This deal is badly reported on and Brian Molefe is not given the credit he deserves as a patriot trying to safeguard national assets within a system that doesn’t permit this. No one knows that Optimum as owned by the Swiss actually tried to bully Eskom to break a deal it already has to try and pocket more money under threats of precipitating  “loadsheding”.

The Guptas Must Go campaign is a campaign of white capital in its new attempt to reclaim their hold on the South African economy.

We wish to warn our people to be careful and not follow the agendas of white people under the pretext of fighting corruption.

We call on our people to reject the counter revolutionary call by the Rupert and Malema alliance. It is not about fighting corruption, it is about fighting for Rupert and white capital.

It’s a diversion from the fact that we want our land back!

We want Rupert and other land thieves to know that we are coming to take back the land. As we speak BLF members are organising around Stellenbosch.”

In this context BLF calls on blacks to join, build and support this beautiful revolutionary movement so as to end capitalist imperialism, white supremacy and all the other ills that manifest as the black condition and to install a black socialist system of governance.

MESSAGE FROM THE NATIONAL CONVENER

image

To All BLF Members And Supporters

Comrades and warriors of the Azanian Revolution towards the total liberation of our people to ensure the end of suffering and the indignity of landlessness and poverty in our land, we bring you revolutionary greetings. The national leadership of our movement met over two days (1-2 April, 2016) in Yeoville. The meeting was an extra-ordinary meeting of the extended National Coordination Committee (NCC). In attendance were all the National leadership and Provincial representatives including representatives of the Institutions of Higher Learning where our movement has a presence.

Far reaching decisions were taken which affect the future of our movement. The NCC was emboldened by the phenomenal growth of our movement since the “Revolutionary Call” was published last August. It has not been easy. Many who started since BLF’s inception have fallen by the way side. Many have stayed on. Many have despaired in the face of challenges. Others have inspired all of us by their courage and commitment. We remain a growing and formidable force.

We take Amilcar Cabral’s adage that we must hide nothing from the people and never claim easy victories. There is a truth that our movement is resource constrained. We need all the support we can get to keep moving. We can only survive if our people support our movement. For this to happen we ourselves have to set a great example of sacrifice, hard work and commitment. We have to show seriousness and honesty. We must not be afraid to make mistakes and we must own up when we have erred and we must continue to improve our revolutionary practice. All of us must ask one question every single day, “what have I done today to advance the revolutionary process?”.

Our movement needs to build structures, to develop cadres and to recruit members. But central to this project is to create revolutionaries who are politically and ideologically trained. The NCC has done great work in issuing public and media statements. These statements are of political value to all our members and must be discussed and feedback sent to the NCC. Should you not understand or disagree with a point taken by the movement you are welcome to seek understanding and clarity. This practice is permitted. You must make your leadership aware of your ideological difficulties with the movement at all times and collectively the matter shall be addressed.

The NCC has also now appointed Brother Ncedisa Mpemnyama as the Secretary for Political Education and a programme shall be soon announced. We take Thomas Sankara’s teaching that “a soldier without political education is a potential criminal” very seriously.

Some of the important political and administrative decisions taken were expressed in the press statement issued on the 02/04/2016 titled “Political Questions Facing Our People Today”. We ask all our members to study this document and discuss it collectively and in small cells of even three people each. Also discuss it with family members and friends. Take each theme and break it down. All BLF members must take their own ideological development seriously and that of society.

BLF is here to provide a larger and inspiring vision and not to allow ourselves to be bogged down by petty squabbles. The enemy of our liberation remains white supremacy which in one important instance manifests as “White Monopoly Capital”. This means that we fighting against the totality of white power. We understand that to be Black First, we must get Land First! The fight for land return remains central to BLF.

As the press statement released by the NCC shows, we are today confronted with a great deception, where agents of imperialism who present themselves as revolutionaries are diverting our attention from this central contradiction of white supremacy and the battle for land return. They are trying to give us fake enemies to protect the real enemy which remains white. We wish to bring to your attention and emphasis that we are faced today with an imperialist onslaught, which is complicating our struggle for national liberation. The imperialists are busy with plans and campaigns to remove President Zuma and replace him with another stooge to break the momentum towards radical decolonization. The enemy is hijacking the struggle to avoid a real Black Revolution from happening. The #ZumaMustFall and #GuptasMustGo campaigns are part of the grand deception under the theme of “state capture”. These are all imperialist schemes. The good thing is imperialists like Johann Rupert has shown his hand and his agents have also shown their hands. We now know there is an alliance lead by Johann Rupert for regime change so as to rescue capitalism and white supremacy.

This development calls for a change of tactics. The imperialists have now managed to get themselves out of the revolutionary gaze. To this end they have cast the focus on Zuma whom they have lost control over because of this “look East for the family’s feast” strategy.  Basically, imperialism has taken the genuine rage against Zuma and the ANC and turned it into its own survival strategy through making us focus on Zuma and the Guptas and leave white capital out of view. This is a clever trick of “state capture”. We must refuse to be deceived and insist that the primary enemy in SA is white capital, the white community and the white land thieves. We must not let them make us lose focus and fight wrong battles. Yes Zuma must pay back the money, but that is not our primary concern.

It in this situation the national leadership of BLF has adopted, amongst others, the policy of “accepting Zuma’s apology with conditions”. This means that if he doesn’t meet these conditions our position shall change. We need to break the reactionary front, divide it and win more people towards a revolutionary path. We need to expose all the reactionaries and anti-black forces by continuously inviting them to the black path of Biko. We must make clear exactly what Zuma needs to do to break with neo-liberalism. That is why the conditions to BLF’s forgiveness of Zuma are presented. We have no suggestion for coexisting or promoting imperialism except to defeat and obliterate it. Our situation is not too different from the one comrade Mao Tse Tung and his Communist Party of China was faced with at one stage of their revolutionary war. Whilst they were fighting for national liberation, they had to also confront the reality of imperialist occupation by Japan. This called for a new tactic and better understanding of how forces of revolution can operate. Today we are also faced by a clear case of imperialist onslaught. We know from London to New York there has been calls for regime change. They want President Zuma and the Guptas gone so that they can replace them with their own stooges which will be presented as the new saviours of blacks only so that they can repeat the same circle that has been going on for the last 22 years. It will be another change that doesn’t bring about change. When Johann Rupert called for a coup that was more than a clear indication of this danger.

We now have a situation where white supremacy is presenting itself as the answer. We must expose this and fight it. We must remove from view all the obstacles and non essential distractions like Nkandla so that we may get to the actual fight. We must turn this situation into a people’s war to end white supremacy and neo-liberalism. Once we do so the small fries like the Guptas would not be factors.

Some of the positions we have taken have been criticised. We welcome this criticism even if most of it is ill-informed. We believe the bulk of the criticism comes from what Mao Tse Tung called “close doorism”. It is instructive to examine the explanation of Comrade Mao on the two tactics of “united front” and “close doorism” under the conditions of pursuing an anti-imperialist struggle.

Mao on United Front vs Close Doorism

“For the moment I shall confine myself to explaining that united front tactics and closed-door tactics are diametrically opposed.

The former requires the recruiting of large forces for the purpose of surrounding and annihilating the enemy.

The latter means fighting single-handed in desperate combat against a formidable enemy.

The advocates of united front tactics say, if we are to make a proper estimate of the possibility of forming a broad revolutionary national united front, a proper estimate must be made of the changes that may occur in the alignment of revolutionary and counter-revolutionary forces in China resulting from the attempt of Japanese imperialism to turn China into a colony. Without a proper estimate of the strong and weak points of the Japanese and Chinese counter-revolutionary forces and of the Chinese revolutionary forces, we shall be unable fully to understand the necessity of organizing a broad revolutionary national united front, or to take firm measures to break down closed-doorism, or to use the united front as a means of organizing and rallying millions of people and all the armies that are potentially friendly to the revolution for the purpose of advancing to strike at our main target, namely, Japanese imperialism and its running dogs, the Chinese traitors, or to use this tactical weapon of ours to strike at the main target before us, but instead we shall aim at a variety of targets so that our bullets will hit not the principal enemy but our lesser enemies or even our allies. This would mean failure to single out the principal enemy and waste of ammunition. It would mean inability to close in and isolate him. It would mean inability to draw to our side all those in the enemy camp and on the enemy front who have joined them under compulsion, and those who were our enemies yesterday but may become our friends today. It would in fact mean helping the enemy, holding back, isolating and constricting the revolution, and bringing it to a low ebb and even to defeat.

The advocates of closed-door tactics say the above arguments are all wrong. The forces of the revolution must be pure, absolutely pure, and the road of the revolution must be straight, absolutely straight. Nothing is correct except what is literally recorded in Holy Writ. The national bourgeoisie is entirely and eternally counter-revolutionary. Not an inch must be conceded to the rich peasants. The yellow trade unions must be fought tooth and nail. If we shake hands with Tsai Ting-kai, we must call him a counter-revolutionary at the same moment. Was there ever a cat that did not love fish or a warlord who was not a counter-revolutionary? Intellectuals are three-day revolutionaries whom it is dangerous to recruit. It follows therefore that closed-doorism is the sole wonder-working magic, while the united front is an opportunist tactic.

Comrades, which is right, the united front or closed-doorism? Which indeed is approved by Marxism-Leninism? I answer without the slightest hesitation–the united front and not closed-doorism. Three-year-olds have many ideas which are right, but they cannot be entrusted with serious national or world affairs because they do not understand them yet. Marxism-Leninism is opposed to the “infantile disorder” found in the revolutionary ranks. This infantile disorder is just what the confirmed exponents of closed-doorism advocate. Like every other activity in the world, revolution always follows a tortuous road and never a straight one. The alignment of forces in the revolutionary and counter-revolutionary camps can change, just as everything else in the world changes. The Party’s new tactics of a broad united front start from the two fundamental facts that Japanese imperialism is bent on reducing all China to a colony and that China’s revolutionary forces still have serious weaknesses. In order to attack the forces of the counter-revolution, what the revolutionary forces need today is to organize millions upon millions of the masses and move a mighty revolutionary army into action. The plain truth is that only a force of such magnitude can crush the Japanese imperialists and the traitors and collaborators. Therefore, united front tactics are the only Marxist-Leninist tactics. The tactics of closed-doorism are, on the contrary, the tactics of the regal isolationist. Closed-doorism just “drives the fish into deep waters and the sparrows into the thickets”, and it will drive the millions upon millions of the masses, this mighty army, over to the enemy’s side, which will certainly win his acclaim. In practice, closed-doorism is the faithful servant of the Japanese imperialists and the traitors and collaborators. Its adherents’ talk of the “pure” and the “straight” will be condemned by Marxist-Leninists and commended by the Japanese imperialists. We definitely want no closed-doorism; what we want is the revolutionary national united front, which will spell death to the Japanese imperialists and the traitors and collaborators”. (See “On Tactics Against Japanese Imperialsm” dated December 27, 1935 in Selected Works of Mao Tse Tung. Link: https://www.marxists.org/reference/archive/mao/selected-works/volume-1/mswv1_11.htm)

As the Black Consciousness Movement we are driven by the principle of black solidarity. This means building a big united block against white power. It’s as simple as when walking up to a fight between a black and a white, we are called by black consciousness to join the side of the black and fight to defeat the white. We must never be found to be on the side of the whites against any black including the reactionary ones. Worse, we can never be part of a programme of white imperialists like Rupert.

We must not allow ourselves to be made to mistake the gatekeeper for the master. We are not at war with the gatekeeper, we want the master. We just want the gate keeper to move out of the way. We reiterate, for BLF the fight is against white supremacy and for land return. We must be guided by only these two considerations and never lose focus of this.

We shall consistently provide updates and clarity regarding the political situation as it develops. It’s the duty of the revolutionary movement to explain, inspire and educate and to be educated by the masses of our people.

We are hoping to see you all at the National Launch Conference in mid May 2016.

POLITICAL QUESTIONS FACING OUR PEOPLE TODAY

image

Our country is facing a massive crisis of leadership and vision. There is no national agenda and we are faced with a real and present danger – a dangerous situation of white capital engineering a regime change to ensure nothing changes.

The SA economy has been in permanent recession for the black majority. Those who fear junk status are fearful because they don’t know that 63% of the population which is mainly black is below the poverty datum. The situation of our people is bad as it is, with food inflation set to hit double digit figures in a context where a neo-liberal budget has been hailed by all the political parties in parliament.

In the past few years we have seen an insurgence of militancy and demands for real change. This demand for change culminated last year into the emergence of a radical Pan African Black Consciousness Black Feminist Movement, first led by the Rhodes Must Fall student movement from UCT. The students were asking fundamental questions about the nature of South African Society and the deal struck in 1994, which left things as they were in white hands.

We saw at this time the rise of demands for land expropriation without compensation and mobilising black anger towards white monopoly capital which is in essence the representatives of the white community. There is no monopoly capital apart from white people.  The discourse of white supremacy also gained lots of ground and “white monopoly capital” was increasingly exposed as just one aspect of the white supremacist project that put white people ahead of blacks.

The response of white power to this crisis was to find new agents that could help it divert attention from white capital and the white community as the main contradiction that must be resolved. White capital started inviting organisations that were seen as radical such as the EFF to meetings and close-door conversations. The first of these meetings happened in Stellenbosch early in 2015, where the EFF sold out its land policy and its leaders assured whites that EFF won’t occupy their land but rather that it would only take the land which white people do not want or which is “unsed”, in other words left over land. The land thieves of Stellenbosch were very happy and sighted breath of relief and possible donated some money since it was asked for.

The radical land policy of land expropriation without compensation was sold out and there remains a vacuum on who must take that struggle up. As we know nature doesn’t allow for vacuums – the militants who were about “land first” regrouped and called for the formation of BLACK FIRST LAND FIRST!

But white power was still unsettled. It needed to remove the danger completely in tandem as the people demanded part of the economy. We saw new pilgrimages to London by all the opposition parties – the most significant being in last October with the visit to London by again the EFF which met the representatives of imperialism in a secret meeting under the imperial Chatham House Rule. From there we saw five counter revolutionary developments, namely:

1. The attack on President Mandela (we know that Mandela is not a saint but we don’t attack him to the delight of whites. Whites have used Mandela now they want his legacy erased).

2. The attack on President Mugabe as a violent man.

3. The Denunciation of the Zimbabwean land revolution as illegal and violent.

4. The unification of the opposition parties (we saw the EFF openly declaring its intention to work with the DA – the Sunday times reported on this).

5. To deflect attention away from white monopoly capital and the white community, which owns 80% of the land and 97% of the JSE,  an elaborate clever trick was hatched in London – they called it “state capture” and labored to paint President Zuma and the Guptas as the enemy we must all work against.

The “State Capture” mantra was pumped and drummed by the media so repeatedly that it became the truth.  To assist this lie, that the problem in SA is the Guptas, ANC leaders who were either marginalised or ambitious were raised from the political wilderness dusted and given a new lease of life through sustained claims of “Guptas offered me a ministerial job and I refused!”.

Vytjie Mentor woke up from a five year slumber and remembered that she had been offered a job by the Guptas. While we were still on that one, Mcebisi Jonas was pulled from the sidelines after his mass scandals and corruption claims that included him chowing and misusing monies of the funeral of the late President Mandela. He claimed he too was offered a ministerial job and he refused.

The media presented these characters as the paragons of virtue.  All their sins were forgiven. Zwlinzima Vavi, seeing that political mileage can be gained, also remembered that eight years ago he was in a meeting where some corrupt activities happened which involved the Guptas.

Vavi is a crusader against corruption and a board member of Corruption Watch. He has sat with knowledge of corruption for eight years. How can he be a board member of an organisation that fihgts corruption but not report corruption? BLF has written to the Chairperson of the board of Corruption Watch, Arch Bishop Njongokulu, to take action against Vavi. He needs to be removed form the board if Corruption Watch wishes to maintain any intergrity, otherwise it would be correctly seen as a weapon used to settle political scores and as fitting in the regime change call driven by “state capture” mantra.

Malema and Johann Alliance for regime change.

Johann Rupert, the Mafia King of Stellenbosch, is one of the richest men in South Africa. He has made his fortune from apartheid assisted land dispossessions of black people and business deals. Johann Rupert is one of the business men who stole billons from the Reserve Bank towards the end of apartheid. Evidence for this is contained in the BLF research report, “Preliminary Report on the Apartheid Era Corruption and other Economic Crimes”. The matter was reported to the Public Protector five years ago, known also as the CIEX matter.

Last week Johan Rupert called for President Zuma to be removed, not by elections but any other means. That was a clear call for a coup. We know the two gentlemen have a little difference in the past calling each other names, like “Stellenbosch Mafia” and “irritating mosquito”. There seems to be peace now between the two as they join hands to bring about regime change.

Malema has now openly exposed the alliance between himself and Rupert. In his own words;

“Rupert, your call for Zuma to step down should translate into action and see the closure of business to allow workers, including yourself, to join the march to remove Zuma. it’s time to go to the streets. Let unions join the march. We need combined resources – financial and human – to mobilise the necessary strength to remove Zuma.”

This open endorsement of  Johan Rupert’s campaign to recapture the state raises many questions.

Firstly, what are the common interests between EFF which claims to be Marxist-Leninst-Fanonian and Johan Rupert who is the epitome of white monopoly capital?

Secondly, is Johann Rupert not a land thief? Or, does this not explain why the land struggle has been abandoned and new a friendship established so that Rupert does not have to return land?

Thirdly, Malema is openly begging for money to make a regime change to help Rupert recapture the state – is this in the interests of the black majority?

What is clear from this stated alliance between Malema and Rupert is that EFF doesn’t see white capital as the enemy. It explains why the march to the JSE was such a timid and peaceful house slave-like march to give massa a memorandum.

This explains why after almost six months after the JSE march, there has been no occupation of ABSA, as was threatened!

The Reds are captured!

Perceptive Strike for White capital

The call by Johann Rupert for a coup follows the failed attempt by his agents within the ANC, NEC to remove Zuma as expected by their handlers.

We want Rupert and other land thieves know that we are coming to take back the land. As we speak BLF members are organising around Stellenbosch.

Corruption cases against Johann Rupert and  8 bankers.

Last night the leadership of BLF opened criminal cases against 9 capitalists at the Hilbrow police station for contravening the law and acting unlawfully.  The case number is: 39/4/2016

White capital has been contravening the law at will. BLF is going to work hard to stop this.

A big crime happened in our country at the height of the controversy around the firing of Nene as Minister of Finance. Two clear incitements of criminality were committed recently, for which the case was opened.

Firstly,  Johanne Rupert (also known as the Stellebosch Mafia king) who is also the chairman of the Swiss Luxury group Richemont is alleged to have broken Section 4 of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Activities Act, 2004.  He broke the law and acted in a corrupt fashion when summoned and went into a meeting of the ANC leaders, specifically Cyril Ramaphosa and Trevor Manuel, and instructed them to ensure the firing of Van Rooyen as minister of finance. We know Rupert has interests in the economy, so he wanted a minister who would take care of his interests. The charge is corruption!

We know that Johann Rupert is denying meeting these two gentlemen, Ramaphosa has in turn not denied the meeting but only that there was no discussion of hiring and firing of ministers. We say we know thieves and criminals never admit to their crimes. Let the police do their work and the courts deal with the criminals.

The biggest second crime happened on the night of the 13 December 2015.  The following bankers, some of them of multinational corporations, broke Section 4 of the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Activities Act, 2004 .

1. Barclays Africa Group Chief Executive Officer, Maria Ramos;

2. Goldman Sachs’ South Africa head Colin Coleman;

3.  Investec Bank’s global CEO, Stephen Koseff;

4. Imperial Holdings’ CEO, Mark Lamberti;

5. Sanlam CEO Ian Kirk;

6. Business Leadership South Africa chairperson Bobby Godsell;

7. Toyota Europe CEO Johan van Zyl and

8. First Rand CEO Johan Burger

We are going to follow this matter and see it to the end.

Furthermore, BLF has written to the President to call for a Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the whole saga around the Minster of Finance.

Also BLF has written and engaged some of the parties in parliament to make sure that a complaint on this saga is laid with the Public Protector. We want the focus to be placed also on the white bankers and business who literally fired Van Rooyen and hired Gordhan.

We  note the hypocrisy of saying nothing when whites do it but make big noise when it is said the Guptas are involved.

Constitutional Court Decision on Nkandla – Do we forgive Zuma?

We welcome the decision in sofar as it clarifies the powers of the Public Protector. Let Zuma pay for whatever he has benefited unduly from. However, we note that the CC decision is being abused by the regime change agents directed from London to call for a coup. This must be resisted. The agenda of Johann Rupert must not be smuggled throught the back door under the guise of fighting corruption. Rupert and his ilk are the biggest criminals.

For BLF we are happy that the PP’s decisions are binding. We are however, very disappointed that the PP is quick to investigate black business and politicians but seems totally reluctant to move on white capital.

BLF demands that the PP release her findings on the R26 BILLION stolen by white capital. She promised us a report by the end of 2015 and nothing has happened. The case is now five years old. We believe the PP is planning to leave office without touching the matter. On this case the claim of funds doesn’t hold because it’s a very straight forward case.

BLF shall resume its direct action against the PP, to get the 26 billion. This is money to assist the unemployed youth of our country. We shall be visiting any public talks and engagement she does and demand that she give progress reports on the R26 Billion we know is recoverable.

President Zuma has last night took full responsibility for his actions or lack of actions on the Nkandla matter. We welcome this humble move by President Zuma. He has asked to be forgiven. We forgive him and say for us the Nkandla thing should never have detained the nation so long – its a side issue and detracts from the important work of national reconstruction.

Now we want to also ask that President Zuma take his responsibility as leader of the nation seriously. We say to Msholozi stop worrying yourself about what whites think about you. What we want from you is the following:

1. Land return to black people without paying a cent. Stop talking about it, do it!

2. Ask for forgiveness for Marikana, give the victims and their children reparations NOW!

3. Nationalise and socialise the mines and other strategic sectors of the economy!

4. Strenghthen the links with BRICS and make sure its anti imperialist!

5. Declare Free Education for real, don’t listen to Blade Nzimande, he is not interested in helping black students.

6. End the horrible slavery called outsourcing.

7. Free All APLA Soldiers Now!

We have many more demands, we are not going to wait for you to meet these demands. But if you do decide to meet them, your legacy would not be Nkandla.

BLF endorses people’s struggles:

1. Where is the Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, Parks Tau?  BLF calls on the citizens of the City of Joburg to support the strike by Pic it Up. We must make sure our parents don’t work like slaves keeping our city clean. Lets organise big sit-ins  at the office of the Mayor for speedy resolution of the matter.

2. Cancer Chicken. Our country has now allowed cancer chicken from the USA into our shelves. BLF is organising direct action against all the retailors who are selling poison. This action would be announced soon.

3. Today the people of Xolobeni bury their favourite son, Sikhosiphi Bazooka Rhadebe who was murdred by agents of the Australian mining company MRC. We call for MRC to leave SA!

4. BLF fully supports  the Buy Black Campaign led by Pastor Xola Sikhosana which started yesterday. Its time to support black business activities and to build non capitalist modes of exchanges amongst blacks. Before you buy something ask if it could be sourced from a black business.

BLF LAUNCH CONFERENCE

We are deligted to announce that BLF shall officially hold its launch conference in May 2016 in Soweto.

Key decisions to be taken at the conference include:

1. Participation or not to participate in the incoming LGE.( the national leadership has made a proposal for contestation).

2. Adoption of the BLACK AGENDA and programme of action.

LENIN’S WARNING FOR SA TODAY: REVISIONISM VERSUS REVOLUTION!

wp-1455291670493.jpeg

We live in a pre-revolutionary moment. A rupture may occur any moment from now, triggered by the flimsiest of triggers. The right wing and political conservatives have moved first – they are fighting for the supremacy of the streets. They are thrown into a vortex of events bigger than themselves but they are only hoping to settle their narrow differences. There is no intention to resolve the national and historical questions.

It’s the duty of the revolutionary movement to clarify great questions facing our people in a moment of great confusion during these times of nascent revolutionary development. Our country is rapidly developing into a revolutionary point, we see this from the restlessness of the youth, the unemployed, the workers and students amongst others. People want revolution, but most of the existing political parties want reform. These parties are all united in their loyalty to the capitalist constitutional dispensation which ensures white racism continues. Between the desire for revolution and the refomists solutions offered, a massive confusion has been generated. Here Black First Land First (BLF) draws from the lessons of the Russian revolutionary Lenin to help clarify what is going on and what position to take. Key to this task is to explain the working of “revisionism and opportunism” as brakes on the revolutionary forward march.

The treacherous role of the pseudo-left in SA calls for brutal exposure.  While casting itself as left and Marxist, Leninist, Fanonist for that matter the EFF has allied with right-wing forces like the DA.  This is opportunism as Lenin says such revisionism is based on sacrificing, the“primary interests for the real or assumed advantages of the moment”. It must be asked what long term interests are there for blacks and workers in any alliance with parties of capitalism and white supremacy such as the DA?  We have seen already how EFF has shown traits of revisionism when it opposed a revolutionary struggle based on the logic that all white owned land in SA is stolen land and must be returned to the black majority without payment of compensation to the land thieves as a basis for the resolution of the land question and by extension all the other questions relating to the building of society along black centered socialist lines.

The pseudo left employs mass mobilization as a spectacle so as to sell the desperation of the people to the highest bidder and thus channel the power of the people on the streets for settlement within the neo liberal framework and in so doing create a democratic façade for an anti black agenda. We must expose the reactionary agenda of the pseudo-left and direct our people to genuine left movements like the BLF. To this end we must arm our people with a radical Black Consciousness Pan Afrikanist critique of these pseudo left movements that will serve as a medium to keep the genuine left on the revolutionary path and to expose the counter revolutionary role of the pseudo left.

The vacillations of SA’s left manifesting in EFF moving to the right and occupying a complimentary position to the Democratic Alliance puts a spotlight on the entire conspectus of revolution to reveal all the nooks and crannies created by revisionism and opportunism.

Lenin points out in “Marxism and Insurrection” that it was “Marx (who regarded) … insurrection specifically as an art, saying that it must be treated as an art, that you must win the first success and then proceed from success to success, never ceasing the offensive against the enemy, taking advantage of his confusion, etc., etc.?” Furthermore, “(t)o be successful, insurrection must rely not upon conspiracy and not upon a party, but upon the advanced class. That is the first point. Insurrection must rely upon a revolutionary upsurge of the people. That is the second point. Insurrection must rely upon that turning-point in the history of the growing revolution when the activity of the advanced ranks of the people is at its height, and when the vacillations in the ranks of the enemy and in the ranks of the weak, half-hearted and irresolute friends of the revolution are strongest. That is the third point.”

SA is clearly not ready for a revolutionary insurrection – so calls by the EFF  for rupture is misleading and a trap to manage the genuine aspirations and anger of blacks for co-option into neo liberalism and neo colonialism. Lenin gives revolutionary counsel in this regard by making a distinction between revisionism and revolution and the role of dissention arising from factionalism  in the ranks of the revolutionary movement.

In this regard the approach of revisionism to the strategic objective of the socialist movement is clarified sufficiently by Lenin.  Lenin is castigating Bernstein for droping ideology for convience through his revisionist slogan,“(t)he movement is everything, the ultimate aim is nothing.” Lenin elaborates the elements of this revisionism, “(t)o determine its conduct from case to case, to adapt itself to the events of the day and to the chopping and changing of petty politics, to forget the primary interests of the proletariat and the basic features of the whole capitalist system, of all capitalist evolution, to sacrifice these primary interests for the real or assumed advantages of the moment—such is the policy of revisionism.  And it patently follows from the very nature of this policy that it may assume an infinite variety of forms, and that every more or less “new” question, every more or less unexpected and unforeseen turn of events, even though it change the basic line of development only to an insignificant degree and only for the briefest period, will always inevitably give rise to one variety of revisionism or another”. (see V.I Lenin in “Marxism and Revisionism”).

Since there is no real socialism that has taken root in SA  the ideological content of the revisionism that exists in SA is the “revisionism from the right”  that comes from what is described above and draws inter alia from all the vacillations characteristic of the petty bourgeois culture in a revolutionary context.

All the great socialist revolutions – the October Russian Revolution, the Chinese Proletarian and Cultural Revolutions, the Cuban Revolution, the Burkanabe’  Revolution and indeed the other revolutions of Latin America and the Caribbean – give testimony to the fact that the petty-bourgeois cultural world-outlook consistently tempers all arenas of anguish in a pre revolutionary situation. This, we have learnt via revolutionary legacy, will be the case right up to achieving revolution. It is wishful thinking and erroneous to suggest that the people could be totally revolutionized before the people themselves go through a revolution.  Lenin again in  “Marxism and Revisionism” elaborates this aspect as follows:

“What we now frequently experience only in the domain of ideology, … what now crops up in practice only over individual side issues of the labour movement, as tactical differences with the revisionists and splits on this basis—is bound to be experienced by the working class on an incomparably larger scale when the proletarian revolution will sharpen all disputed issues, will focus all differences on points which are of the most immediate importance in determining the conduct of the masses, and will make it necessary in the heat of the fight to distinguish enemies from friends, and to cast out bad allies in order to deal decisive blows at the enemy.”

In a review of “Chapter Four of  “Left Wing”Communism: An Infantile Disorder” Thomas Riggins refers to Lenin’s elaboration of the factionalism within the Party as follows: Lenin speaks of the efforts of the Bolsheviks to combat desention within the ranks of the proletarian movement; desenters operated within the movement and under the guise of working in the best interests of attaining socialism; Lenin refers to the factions within the movement which reflected those who were anti the Bolshevik line and who sided with the reactionary forces; Lenin pointed out that the main enemy was  “opportunism” which was a reactionary political culture that sought to relegate the real interests of the workers to the periphery so as to further temporary policies in order to achieve some gains that benefit the moment but which effectively destroyed the ultimate interests of the workers; there was a clear distinction between “opportunism” and revolutionary “compromise”; those retreats and compromises that were historically necessary were not in furtherance of opportunism – it was instead the attitude that translated as co-option and capitulation into the  bourgeois agenda which had anti working class outcomes that was furthering opportunism; opportunism finds expression in  “Petty Bourgeois Revolutionism” – a kind of admixture of anarchism and pseudo revolutionary rhetoric; Lenin suggested “several fundamental rules” to be employed to differentiate between principled and unprincipled compromises; a compromise involving the promotion of internationalism and the rejection of the“defense of country” (which was effectively in furtherance of the imperialist world war) was cited by Lenin as a principled compromise;  a compromise entailing the support of the revolutionary uprisings of the workers and peasants wherever they arise to destroy the bourgeois and feudal governments was regarded as a further principled compromise by Lenin; to engage in compromise that furthers the “defense of country” in the imperialist world war was opportunism and unprincipled action, and;  forming a coalition with the national bourgeoisie so as to defeat foreign countries and thus become complicit “in imperialist banditry” is opportunism and unprincipled compromise. (See Thomas Riggins in “Lenin on Anarchism and Opportunism”, a review of  “Chapter Four of ‘Left’ Wing Communism An Infantile Disorder”)

The BIG question for us in the context of  SA reality is how to adapt Lenin’s views in a pre revolutionary situation and within a context that puts the black liberation project at the core of our national and international efforts so as to bring about the complete destruction of the current Capitalist Imperialist, White Supremacist world order and outlook and replace it with a Black centered Socialist one? A follow up consideration is the role of the revolutionary vanguard movement of the people in each affected country to lead the people to freedom. In SA BLF was conceived for precisely this reason – to lead the people to freedom!

LENIN’S WARNING FOR SA TODAY: REVISIONISM VERSUS REVOLUTION

image

Key to this task is to explain the working of “revisions and opportunism” as brakes on the revolutionary forward march.

The treacherous role of the pseudo-left in SA calls for brutal exposure.  While casting itself as left and Marxist, Leninist, Fanonist for that matter the EFF has allied with right-wing forces like the DA.  This is opportunism as Lenin says such revisionism is based on sacrificing, the “primary interests for the real or assumed advantages of the moment”. BLF REJECTS THE LIES PEDDLED BY JULIUS MALEMA ABOUT LAND REDISTRIBUTION IN ZIMBABWE

FB_IMG_1448480485022

The Black First Land First (BLF) movement is an anti-imperialist and anti-capitalist movement that supports the return of the stolen land in Africa by any means necessary. BLF follows the ideas of Frantz Fanon who teaches us about the justness of the return of the land to its rightful owners by any means necessary and that land is the foundation to liberation.

BLF honours the Zimbabwean liberation fighters who took up arms against the colonisers and liberated Zimbabwe. Furthermore, BLF is inspired by the radical stance the government of President Robert Mugabe took to take land back to the it’s rightful owners.

BLF rejects the lies told in London by Economic Freedom Fighters Commander in Chief, Julius Malema and his delegation, that the Zimbabwean government used violence against innocent people in its land reclamation process. To paint the government of Zimbabwe as the aggressors in its quest to return the stolen land is to serve colonialism.

BLF is not surprised by the EFF and Malema’s attack on the government of President Mugabe for taking back the land. The EFF has already given guarantees to white land thieves in South Africa that the land they stole from blacks shall not be returned. This attack on radical land redistribution is consistant with the imperialist agenda pursued by the EFF which is now exposed through the London trip. This attack on the Zimbabwean government for giving blacks their land must be seen as part of the EFF’s commitment given to representatives of imperialism and white monopoly capital in London. The EFF is merely carrying out the instructions of imperialism by criticising the revolutionary land redistribution in Zimbabwe; which was carried out peacefully. The only violence that was perpetrated was by the settlers in defence of the stolen land. It’s a lie and a distortion of history to equate action for decolonisation with violence.

BLF defends the Zimbabwean land redistribution process and salutes the government of Zimbabwe for returning land to the people.

Speaking about land reclamation at Oxford University yesterday Malema said, “You ought to pass legislation through parliament in line with your constitution that will take land back to the hands of people.”

BLF rejects the lie that land redistribution can only be done through waiting for politicians to make laws. It’s a lie to say that the South African constitution allows for land expropriation without compensation. The only realistic means left to blacks to get their land back is through land occupations. The land was stolen and must be taken back without anymore delays.

Malema’s current engagements with white monopoly capital are about allaying white fears and donating people’s power  (the recent march to the JSE was to demonstrate people’s power controlled by him) to the highest bidder to perpetuate landlessness. Hence, the resolution of the land question by  Zimbabwe, which is a black first approach, has to be rejected by the EFF for it to get any favours from white capital. The EFF is now unashamedly declaring it’s disruption of any revolutionary endeavours in this regard.

We call on all the revolutionary people to defend Zimbabwe, to reject imperialism and it’s agents, and to reclaim the stolen land.

SEPTEMBER NATIONAL IMBIZO CONDEMNS EFF’s ORGANIZED VIOLENCE AGAINST THE PASTOR AND CONGREGATION OF THE “END OF TIMES DISCIPLES MINISTRIES” IN SOSHANGUVE

“A soldier without any political or ideological training is a potential criminal”.- Thomas Sankara

When members of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), instructed by their leaders,  invaded the “End of Times Disciples Ministries” in Soshanguve, Pretoria on 9 August 2015 their intention was clear: to get their hands on the pastor of the church and to teach him a lesson by making him eat snakes and rats because he does the same to the people of his congregation. The EFF, like a gang of vigilantes, stormed the church, beat people up and destroyed church property all under the guise of serving the interests of the community. It was a shame to see on national television how women were being beaten up by EFF hooligans. None of these horrible senseless actions of EFF can be justified. Only sick and very disturbed people can justify the beating of women as a service to the community. We all know that the EFF was serving none other than itself in pursuit of a media spectacle!  Furthermore, the EFF was motivated by nothing else but opportunism and vulgar populism at the expense of the most vulnerable people of this country being the black people.

The EFF has proven itself to be no different from the ANC that brutalizes our people to get things done. The logic that led to 34 miners being killed in Marikana by the ANC on 16 August 2012 is the same logic that motivated EFF hooligans to use violence on black people so as to have their way. This emanates from the anti black logic that blacks are stupid and understand no other language but that of violence and consequently they must be treated with violence so as to get them to understand what is needed to be done. One cannot help but come to the realization that if the EFF were to assume state power in this country it would not hesitate to use the full might of the police force and the military to brutalize blacks into submission and then claim that such brutality was meted out in the interests of society.

These acts of brutality against blacks by the EFF is not surprising. Being devoid of any genuine leadership and having abandoned revolutionary theory EFF is incapable of of dispensing any revolutionary guide to action to its members so as to assist them in engaging communities or individuals on how to overcome practicing or perpetrating backward ideas. Blacks in this country continue to experience violence through landlessness and economic exclusion by the state. The act of the colonial dispossession of blacks of their land has rendered them available to all those who claim to have a solution to their perpetual suffering. To this end all black people are desperate for a solution to their unbearable suffering   The EFF, had it been a revolutionary party, would not have promoted black on black violence as a solution to the problem our people are experiencing. It would instead, have made it it’s revolutionary duty to educate our people on what must be done under the circumstances where they are engaging in backward ritualistic practices that go against their own interests.

It must be stated that when the EFF burned down the tent of the “snake” pastor, such action was an exercise in futility because it did not discourage the congregation from engaging in backward practices. In this regard the congregation was undeterred by the violent deeds of the EFF and simply continued to eat grass in the absence of their pastor.

The EFF’s supposed solution to the problem at hand only serves to further entrench the culture of anti black violence in our communities that is in turn set in motion by the structural logic of white-supremacy. This will also encourage the growth of the pastor’s follower-ship. In fact they will now quote John 15 verse 18: “if the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.”  The faithful shall now believe that this is yet another test that they must overcome.  And so the belief in their pastor’s miracles shall only grow in strength. They will see for themselves, as the chosen few, that they have to be persecuted just like Christ himself was persecuted.

It is not only the pastor in Soshanguve that feeds rats and snakes to our people. The political class does the same to our people when it sells snakes and grass as ideology them. Now it is pitting itself against those who sell physical snakes. The practice of deception is the same on both levels. A revolutionary movement does not impose its hegemony on the people through violence and intimidation.  It does not assert itself by creating a fearful community under its violent command. Soon we will degenerate into the warlordism we have already seen in most parts of the African continent. A revolutionary movement wins hegemony in society by persuasion, organisation and education. We all know the fearful are not free!

The EFF fails dismally to understand that contradictions amongst the people must be settled peacefully because they are not antagonistic, and contradictions with the enemy are antagonistic and must be dealt with violently if necessary. The lack of revolutionary theory from the EFF renders black people the enemy and consequently everybody suffers. This means its war of all against all in a quest for the dominance of naked violence amongst and over the people.

Not only is the EFF suffering from a lack of revolutionary theory, but it is also led by misleaders who are hypocrites and who will teach people that they must ‘do as they say but not as they do’. How is it possible that the EFF who attacks the pastor is the same EFF that has invited Paseka Mbhoro Motsoeneng who is a controversial, charismatic pastor to its rallies. Maybe the EFF is attacking the “snake” pastor in defence of their own miracle worker‘Mbhoro’ who they see as competition. We have not forgotten how EFF President Julius Malema`once visited another controversial pastor T.B Joshua in Nigeria in search of his own miracles. We see here Malema exercising his own right in believing in miracles and when other black people do the same they are met with violence instructed by him. To this end who can forget how, even when the Synagogue Church of TB Joshua collapsed and a number of South Africans were killed, Julius Malema rose in defence of the pastor.

We Are The One’s We Have Been Waiting For!
